Step 6 of the 100 Day Profit Reset Protocol

Club Creator

A membership plan for the patients who have no insurance at all.

The leak it stops

27%
of US adults have no dental insurance — about 72 million people
CareQuest Institute, State of Oral Health Equity in America

More than one in four adults has no dental coverage, and many of them stay away from the dentist until something hurts — not because they cannot pay, but because an unknown bill is frightening. Meanwhile the patients you do see arrive through PPO plans that write off thirty to fifty percent of what you produce.

An in-house membership plan answers both: uninsured patients get predictable care for an annual fee and a member discount, and your practice collects directly, at a discount far smaller than a PPO write-off. When we pulled data on ninety thousand US practices, only about one in six offered any kind of membership plan. Club Creator sets yours up and runs it.

What Club Creator does

Your plan, your terms

Set the annual membership fee for a primary member, dependent adults and children — an optional periodontal plan too — with version history so the fee can change over time without touching existing members.

Member discounts three ways

One flat discount across every procedure (the simple option), a different discount per category, or code by code. Office fees for your most-used procedure codes go in once and are shared with PPO Inspector.

An online portal that enrolls for you

Patients enroll themselves, pay by card, switch on auto-renewal and watch their savings add up. Add the link to your website; the tool sends the confirmation and the renewal reminders.

A marketing kit, ready to print

A thirty-second pitch for the team, a tri-fold brochure, two office notices — one with a QR code to the portal — and, with Content Caddy connected, a daily membership post on your social pages.

Member pricing at checkout

Select the procedures, and the member price and the saving are calculated on the spot; the saving is recorded so the patient can see it in the portal — and hears it from you at the desk.

The Membership Advantage calculator, and migration

Show a poorly insured patient what they pay out of pocket today against what the plan would cost. Already run a plan on a spreadsheet or another platform? Members can be migrated — in bulk, with our help, in under an hour.

What running it looks like

Setting it up

Step 6 of the protocol — the biggest step, an introduction and nine short videos, because a membership plan genuinely has more to it: fees, office fees, discounts, the portal, the marketing kit, enrollment, member pricing, the calculator, migration. One sitting a day, several days.

Day to day

Member pricing at checkout for members, and enrolling a patient who says yes — both a minute or two. Renewals, reminders and confirmations are automatic.

Worth knowing

A membership plan is not insurance, and several states regulate how plans are described and cancelled — the tool gives you the standard disclosure language, and your attorney gives you the state-specific answer.

What it did in one practice

Questions about Club Creator

What does a member get?

What your plan says: typically an annual fee that covers an exam and an X-ray each year, plus a member discount on treatment. You set the fee, the discount and the dependents' fees.

Is a membership plan insurance?

No. It is a direct arrangement between the patient and your practice, with no third party in between. Some states regulate how such plans must be described and cancelled — check with your attorney.

How do patients pay?

By card through the online portal or at your desk through Stripe, or through an external processor you record in the tool. Annual, up front, is the recommendation — it avoids unpaid balances after treatment.

What if I already have a plan?

Members can be migrated. Fewer than fifty: a few a day, over a week or two. More: book a meeting and it is done in bulk, usually in under an hour. Turn off auto-renewal on the old platform first.

How do I get patients to join?

The marketing kit — a team pitch, a brochure, two printable notices with the portal QR code, the portal link on your website, and daily membership posts if Content Caddy is connected — plus the calculator for patients whose insurance is costing them more than a plan would.
